Our Y9 students spent 2 hours learning how to code drones using SWIFT coding. By the end of the session students were able to fly drones up, down, right, left, follow flight paths and some were even successful in getting the drones through hoops. Some groups worked together to create a procession. Students enjoyed the session immensely and could be heard discussing it later in the day. I would highly recommend drone coding with Hyett Education to give students wider opportunities of STEM.
