International Women's Day is powered by the collective efforts of all

The year's International Women's Day is focusing on collective action and shared ownership for driving gender parity.

Gloria Steinem, world-renowned feminist, journalist and activist reportedly once explained "The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights."

We strive in all our workshops to provide gender equality. We want girls to have equal access to all the topics and opportunities provided to young boys. We want girls to feel they can experiment, challenge and progress in all fields of interest, but especially in STEM subjects  - where take up from women and girls is still low.

Diversity and inclusion of women and girls in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths will only strengthen the industries and expand the reach of the UK economy. That's why we are so proud to work with organisations such as the Defence Nuclear Enterprise and the Royal Air Force, who also want to reach as many girls as possible for inclusive STEM experiences.

So make International Women's Day your day and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women and girls all over the UK.

Include the girls you teach in EVERY conversation.
